Open Water Diver

As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, you will have the freedom to dive in over 176 countries. Virtually anyone in good health, reasonably fit and comfortable in water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. At 3D Diving you must be over the age of 14 and be able to swim 200m to start the program.

Throughout the course, you will learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and underwater techniques, by completing confined water (swimming pool) dives and knowledge development sessions during home study and Instructor guided sessions. Finally, by making four real open water dives you gain the most recognised diving qualification in the world.

Part one is focused on completing all the confined water dives, quizzes and exam towards the qualification. Each session is held at our modern and friendly training facilities in Greenwich, where you will review your home-study with your Instructor before moving to the swimming pool. In small groups you work closely with your instructor on learning all the skills you need to become a safe and proficient diver.
